About Roomly

Roomly is a marketplace that connects two groups of people in Nigeria: guests looking for somewhere to stay, and property owners with somewhere to offer. Guests browse approved listings, book their dates and pay through Paystack. Owners list a property, confirm the requests they receive and withdraw their earnings to a Nigerian bank account.

Roomly is not a hotel chain, a travel agency or a property-management company. It does not own or operate any of the properties listed on it — each one belongs to the host who listed it.

The Roomly platform is operated by Roomly Technologies Limited, a company registered in Nigeria. The official website is www.roomly.ng, and the official mobile app is Roomly on the App Store. An Android app is not available yet.

Roomly supports two kinds of listing:

• Hotels, organised into suites and the rooms within them. You book a room in a suite. Browse hotels in Nigeria.
• Shortlets — short-term private stays. Supported building types are studios, apartments, duplexes, bungalows, penthouses, villas, luxury homes, beach houses and shared spaces. Browse shortlets or apartments.

Every listing is reviewed and approved by the Roomly team before it becomes publicly visible. If a host edits an approved listing, it returns for review and is hidden until it is approved again.

Roomly operates in Nigeria. Listings are grouped into city and area pages for Lagos, Lekki, Victoria Island, Abuja, Port Harcourt, Ibadan, Enugu, Kano — the set of places Roomly currently organises browsing around. Availability in any given city depends on which hosts have listed there and had their listings approved, so the best way to see what is live right now is to search Roomly.

Guests — anyone looking for a hotel room or a short-term stay in Nigeria, whether for a work trip, a weekend away or a longer visit. Booking happens in the Roomly app.

Hosts — hotel operators and owners of apartments, duplexes, villas and other private properties who want to reach guests across Nigeria. See listing your property on Roomly.
